WeChat launches outbound travel brand—WeChat Go—to help businesses better connect with customers

In our previous post, we touched on WeChat Go as one of Tourism Boards’ efforts to drive growth for Chinese tourism. In this post, we will elaborate on WeChat Go beyond the partnerships with Tourism Boards.

WeChat and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) worked together to create a tour guide on STB’s WeChat official account. This WeChat tour guide helps tourists answer questions and fulfill their basic needs while travelling. As such, tourists don’t need to hire a real-life tour guide and can, therefore, travel more independently.
